We are seeking a motivated, ambitious and organized individual for an opportunity to further their experience in a diverse and dynamic work environment in the accommodation sector. With three locations, our expanding company is seeking candidates with hotel management qualifications or similar and who have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the hotel or property management or assisted accommodation industries. This role also requires an ability to conduct and present professional research into trends and opportunities in the accommodation sector as well as a desire to advance career progression through further training and management.
Responsibilities:
•Conduct research and gather information relevant to the organization's operations, market trends, and customer needs.
•Assist the manager in coordinating and overseeing customer service functions, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
•Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure adherence to established guidelines and standards.
•Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation as required.
•Support the Accommodation Manager in assisting guests from a multi-national and sensitive background as part of a governmental housing initiative.
•Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for staff members.
•Provide administrative support to the manager and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Plus Points:
•Three years’ professional experience in hotel management (preferred) or from a business, law, market research, social care, humanities, administration or hospitality field.
•Proven success in working as an interictal part of a small, dynamic team.
•Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Excellent research and analytical abilities, with attention to detail. Candidates’ who reach the interview stage will be asked to show a piece of research work.
•Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
•Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and interact with diverse populations.
•Familiarity with governmental guidelines and regulations related to the organization's operations is an advantage.
•Access to reliable transport to Sandyford and Dublin 1.
- Familiarity with maintenance and property care techniques is considered a strong plus point.
•Additional training and licencing in areas such as security, fire, languages, material handling, and mediation are all considered advantageous.
Contract Details:
The role offers a competitive rate ranging from €32,000 to €36,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
